not practical in practical

yes, this is an update of my life.

it is November and exams of all kind are slowly creeping up on my back. practical exams. written exams. presentations. projects. all these are coming to a close. this week will be having two practical exams. one Math one Computer Science. the Math one i am not so worried but as for the Computer Science one.. damn.

to be honest, i don't really know how should i prepare for it. i have less than a week to actually prepare for it. should i read past assignments? should i spam doing all the past year practices? should i read all the lecture and tutorials? yeah yeah, i can imagine some of you yelling at me to do all i have just said. well, too bad for me, not enough time. and no, don't say serve me right for not starting early. i am a person who love to be practical and try to study effectively and drown myself with everything i have in hand just to get the result that might not be representative to the work i have put in.

lost? here is an analogy.

Hunter A has 100 arrows. each arrow isn't exactly straight and very sharp at its tip. he would fire all 100 arrows without proper aiming. 100 arrows might fetch him say 25 squirrels. Hunter B has 100 arrows. each arrow is finely crafted with really pointed tip. he would fire each arrow with proper aiming. 100 arrows might fetch him say 80 squirrels.

i prefer to be Hunter B. when it comes to revision, i prefer to be effective both in time and effort. of course, not taking the shortcut out or what not.

so, back to the point of my practical exam for Computer Science, sad to say, i cannot find a practical way to tackle this practical exam. i tried doing one past year practice early. the paper suppose to be two hours long. after 3.5 hours i managed to do about 70% of it. ohh wells, maybe i should starting looking for God and pray.
