under the bus

yes this is an update of my life.

i have slightly less things to do today. or rather, i have decided to rest a little more today. as such, this is where i will be first.. updating my blog with a legit post about what's up. reality check: it is week 11; less than a month's time to finals; about a month's time to summer break.

things for sure have heated up in terms the amount of assignments and projects due in the next couple of weeks. on top of these, i still hope that i can start revising for finals. starting revision only during reading week will not help.. especially when you have 5 papers, 3 of which are core papers. well, as some might have remembered me mentioning, i am overloading this semester. however, the 6th module is now done. yes, officially done.. no more classes and no more submissions or presentations. time to focus on 5 modules.. lol which is what a typical student will be doing if he/she does not overload.

summer is coming. i hope to get the internship i desired as well. unsure of the progress but still keeping my fingers crossed. apart from that, been doing up a rough to-do list for the summer. shan't reveal those boring things for now until i managed to accomplish them. if you do not hear anything about them then yeah i probably became a sloth in the summer.

moving on from work and study stuff.. i am pretty amused at how an asshole some people can be. they can be willing to throw a friend right under the bus with a snap of their fingers. they can abandon you, leaving you behind to taste their dirt in a blink of an eye. well, this time i wasn't really involved but a good friend was the victim. guess my faith in humanity stays. whenever i meet someone new, i will always assume the worst of the person. he/she, through interactions and actions, will then be decided if they are part of my list of friends. be nice but don't be foolish. until next time then, cheers.

too close for comfort

yes this is an update of my life.

hello April.. yet another scary month for a college student in local university. the arrival of April means that a student does not have much time left before he/she is faced with the final exams. yes, it is slightly less than a month left to finals. or to put it in a scarier way.. this is the month of the start of finals. yeah.. let that reality sink it for a while.

fire that once burn so strongly at the start of the semester is not flickering, trying to keep itself lit until the end of all the finals. as usual, as much as i wish to start my proper revision, there are so many submissions that require my attention first. by the time all those are done, i will be at the start of reading week. 5 finals this semester. while many like to boast how few finals they have now and then, i realised the least number i had over the past semesters was 4.. lol and that is probably the most for some. i'm numb to the pain haha. numb to the fact that i have more papers. numb to the fact that i will be ending my last paper later than most of my friends.

time to search for the motivation to power through to the first week of May. until next time then, cheers.
