the irony

today is a Sunday.. a weekend where most average people would sleep in for one last day before head on back to the long five weekdays again. nonetheless, that wasn't me this morning. woke up before 6am to catch the World Cup match between England and Italy.

well if you think i'm crazy, so be it.. haha just so you know such world event and such excitement comes only once every four years so why not? anyway, back to the game i guess England lost thanks to the fact that they did not make use of any of their set pieces. they were rewarded many corner kicks and free kicks but somehow or rather they just did not make use of it.. at some points in time they just literally throw their chances away.

in the end, the game ended with a win for Italy at 2-1. here is the most memorable moment of the game in case you are interested..

haha.. cute and funny at the same time.. probably a little pity as well. that dude on the stretcher is the England's physio. how ironic.. his job is to assist the England players recover from injury fast and what not but yet he got injured. well, you don't get to see that often.. one would normally see players being stretchered out not a staff. anyway, apparently, he got injured while celebrating England's goal to level the game at 1-1. dislocated ankle. sad sad dude.. hope he gets well soon.

5PA1N

well people, it is World Cup fever. i tend to support and keep close watch of my favourite players and teams. for teams.. Spain and Germany. so Spain played their opening game this morning against Holland.. a repeat of the previous World Cup final. poor results and performance from Spain i would say. check out the highlights here..

5PA1N

what to say? Holland really deserved the win as they show they were the better team.. controlling almost every minute of the game and every corner of the pitch. Spain defenders were probably sleeping most of the time. the overall feel i got from them was they had no idea how they were going to play the game throughout. Holland, on the other hand, knew exactly how they want to take on this game. nonetheless, good match and the next match that will be worth watching will be tomorrow morning's England VS Italy at 6am.

red hot

hello people.. almost 24 hours after my first ever experience in a live concert, i am still high over it. last night's concert was by none other than Taylor Swift. her final performance of the entire Red Tour after an odd 18 months ended right here in the Singapore Indoor Stadium. here are some of the pictures i had and take note that none of them are edited or what not. i'm not into those so yeah.. raw.

posing with a poster outside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.. photo credited
to Warren

the first photo i took the moment we walked into the compound

her opening performance with the song "State Of Grace"

her showing that she can still rock on the guitar on live stage

check out her dress.. the most gorgeous one in my opinion
and of course coupled with the song "Red"

this is the closest she got to our seats as she jammed couple of acoustic pieces

piano with one of the most emotional song by her yet, "All Too Well"

she is in white and the guy in black is Romeo.. yeah "Love Story" is the song here
and it is the first few songs that i heard from her many years ago.. nostalgic

her final encore performance

Zu Xiang and me did not want to leave so quick after the show.. photo
credited to her girlfriend

looks like she even posed for me to have a picture with her

overall, the entire performance is really hot and energetic. the pre-show by a local band was pretty awesome. the atmosphere throughout the show was great. it was like in a club just higher and replace the club music with the awesome voice of Taylor Swift and screaming fans. this made me love her even more. she went the extra mile to give her Singapore fans a personal touch.. talking about specific things the fans here did and what not. she really knows how to show real appreciation for her fans. man.. it was a good performance.. what more do i need to say? haha..
