HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

updating my blog since i expect my parents will be taking some time before they are ready to go out. advantage of not being a parent: no need to prepare so much things before going out.

last Friday our unit went for outcamp walk at Gardens By The Bay. went to the two aircon dome. forgot the names of the places but yeah you should know which ones i am referring to. got to say it was pretty amazing. better than expected. initially thought would be the boring kind of exhibition where you walk for the sake of walking and look see look see. but okay not that bad. quite breath taking. after that headed to Chinatown's restaurant for end-of-work-year lunch. the funniest thing is i won 2nd prize in the lucky draw. sad thing is i need cab home just to drop the items before going out again. taxi wait was an hour half. made me almost want to stick my wings out and fly home haha. fun day fun lunch.

if you all yet to catch the part 2 of Jack Neo's film and planning to catch it this period please do. okay i'm not paid by him to advertise here but it was a decent film. way better than the first one. first one anyhow one but second one at least satisfying. as usual, every of his film will mock something about Singapore. this film is one foreign labour. shan't spoil much but go watch, it is worth it.

dumb ways to die

hello people. i am blogging at this weird hour despite today is a Thursday due to the fact that i took yet another off i one week. come to think of it, since after the blocked leave i Dec. i yet to stay in camp from Monday to Friday, five full days. love having off days.

anyway here to update because i am experiencing a feeling that i will feel on and off over each year. not often but still yeah. what feeling?

i miss all my dear friends, my sisters, my brothers. i feel so eager to suddenly ask everyone of them out to talk and eat and hang out just for the sake of fun and catching up, like seriously. ohh well hope i can do so pretty soon despite everyone's tight and different schedule.

paranoid

i hate this period. probably the most hated period since i entered 39 SCE in Seletar Camp. why? mob manning period. army dudes you should know what i talking about. for the civilian girls and yet-to-enter-NS boys it means the camp can call you back anytime as if something big happened to the country. you see those flashing things on TV? yeah that's one of the way they summon us like a boss summoning its mob. so many things to change over this period of time.

1) i have to bring my camp pass and 11B everywhere i go.
2) i have to have extra $15 in my wallet that is used to cab down to camp.
3) i cannot use my iphone when i leave house for the camp do not allow iphone in until February.
4) i have to wear book-in attire whenever i go out, meaning polo or tee with long pants or jeans with belt with socks and shoes.

damn. hate this shit. what's more is they give you the paranoid feeling, making you check your handphone every now and then in case shit cocks up. man can't wait for end of this month.
