back to another talking about another decent movie that i have watched a couple of months back. this movie is set in the past where women were deemed as a small voice in society. the movie i'm referring to is "Changeling".
the story is mainly about a woman who had a son living with her in an average house during the 20th century. one day, her son went missing and she went on appealing for him to be found. this case was somehow seen as an important one for the town police force as its poor reputation led them having to solve more cases. they decided that this case would be solved and let know to the media. unfortunately, her son wasn't found and the screwed up police force decided to bribe an orphan that resembled him to say he was the woman's son in front of the media before handing him back to the woman. the woman was shocked as she consistently deny that he was her son. her constant fight to voice out was always falling to deaf ears or silenced almost as she spoke. this continues throughout the movie.
i feel that this is a real awesome movie for it really shows the extent a mum would go just to find her son and what not. plus, it also highlights how much courage and determination to be heard, to never give up no matter what. this movie leads you into guessing where the son could be even up towards the end of the show. what happens in the end is up to you to find out. :)
