extended childhood
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
yeah just got home from drinking and chilling session with buddies at Clarke Quay. gosh thank goodness for the extended train and bus services today. say a lot of money compared to taking a taxi back from there especially with the extra 50% after midnight charges.
past few days were eye opening. wait. that did not sound right. i don't know how to phrase it properly. hmm... well just saying that i have seen things clearly through the past few days. people always tell you things happen for a reason. people always tell you that you make decisions, regardless it seemed silly or what not at the point in time, for a reason. i never really take these words seriously because i see too short a term. in the long run, some or rather most proves so.
decisions i made months ago seemed dumb. i kept telling myself i might be wrong to myself and i am just disappointing myself and pulling myself further down. then recently events proved me otherwise. shan't elaborate in case i make these events too obvious which obviously i prefer not to. things happen to me, bad things i mean, i sure curse and swear at my rotten luck or my lousy fate or something along this line. again the same few events proved me otherwise. there are blessings in disguise.
thank goodness for my mental strength to pull through the last few months. hmm i realise i like using "thank goodness" instead of the usual "thank God". why? i free thinker and i don't know which God to believe by i believe he/she/they exist. so yeah.
all these talk bring me to the final point i want to say here today. my senior reminded me or rather enlightened me something i never realise until he said so. he told be NS extend your time of play. typical NSF guys can afford more fun more thrill more play in life than females who are our peers. reason being once you start working in the real society, you can't really enjoy and play hard. you do so in study years and for guys NS. okay one more positive point of NS.
