the write way
yes this is an update of my life.
accomplishing tasks set forth for myself bit by bit at a time. these couple of days been writing up the module reviews for my 4th and final year. yes, the title of this blog post is somewhat a lousy pun created by yours truly at 1am. catchy.. that's the point.. i hope.
so yes, module reviews. will be doing them in similar formats like those i have been doing for the past few years. well except for ST4199 which is essentially statistics students' FYP module. this is rather tricky and thus i had to adjust the format and what not. nonetheless, fret not, rest assure i will still try to make it as informative as possible. in fact i have written the first draft of it minutes ago. need a break from writing those reviews.. hence here updating.
i will release all of them at one shot once i have done writing all of them. i foresee myself completing and uploading them as early as end of this week. until next time then, cheers.

R vs L
yes this is an update of my life.
okay finally had the energy and time to do a proper update. Sunday morning 2am was at Tampines Hub with couple of friends to catch the Champions League final. as some might know i am also a fan of Real Madrid. i wanted to watch this finals not only because i supported one of the finalists but come on, if it is an annual cup final that could not be missed it would be the one and only Champions League final.
Real Madrid defeated Liverpool in a convincing 3-1 win. there were so many moments that made the entire game so worth watching.. Salah's injury, ball hitting crossbars, Bale's first goal, Liverpool keeper's fatal mistakes.
all in all i felt that Liverpool played very well but only in the first half. they could have really capitalised on their great movements and possessions to convert into goals. well, they didn't which honestly might be because Salah's exit after 30 minutes. Liverpool has been building up a lot of things around him.. but when Lallana came in, it was evident the the fluidity crumbled a little. Liverpool clearly worked on set pieces but Real Madrid could not even get a proper corner done right. nonetheless, patience paid off in the end. Real Madrid did not push as hard as usual in the first half.. they waited and waited before making use of new legs in second half to show their dominance.
one thing everyone is talking about is Salah's injury as a result of Ramos's fatal tackle/fall. a very experience and big-built defender against a hungry and fresh striker. Salah slotted his arm under Ramos's left armpit was an error he would remember for life. yeah tussling is usual but putting his arm there is as good as putting it into a lion's mouth.. you risk being injured since in a tussle it might be difficult to retreat your arm. true enough.. as the tussle began Ramos lost his footing and fell, tugging Salah's arm down and dislocating his shoulder. was it on purpose on Ramos's end? i would say looks like it.. but being experienced among the two i think he was "capitalising" on how Salah slotted his arm there to take him down like this.
was an amazing atmosphere and game throughout.. thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours there. 3 consecutive years of being number one in Europe. i think no club would ever beat this record. yesterday morning's tuition was a torturous session with lack of sleep.. but managed to repay some sleep debt in the afternoon. woke up to day for a jog before a decent breakfast.. whew.. countdown 2 weeks to being a working adult. until next time then, cheers.
