adapting

yes this is an update of my life.

halfway into the first week of a new semester. haven't really got all the class slots that i wanted yet but can say most are where i want them to be on my timetable. my Mondays and Thursdays are exceptionally crazy with classes from 8am to 8pm. of course, there is a break for my lunch in between. my only break on those two days anyway.

despite all these, i am still in the midst of getting used to the new timetable. first week only.. what more could i expect? anyway, aside from that, i am glad that i have at least someone i know to sit with in every lecture. with the freedom to choose the modules and timeslots in university, i guess such chances are lower due to different interests and different goals. therefore, i am really glad to find these people.

went back to SAJC yesterday for its open house. really good to be back in your old school after a while. memories and what not made during the years in the school can be resurfaced. gosh i envy those times where life was less stressful and less complex. nonetheless, at every stage of life i guess there will be different aspects that one enjoy and others that one dislikes. these vary from one stage to another. choosing SAJC was one of the better choices in made in my life despite the travelling time from my home and back. now, i am thinking when should i head back to AHS or even ESPS.. lol.

the last day

yes this is an update of my life.

well, this is it. it is officially the last day of my precious holidays after year 1 semester 1. semester 2 starts tomorrow at 8am. moving back to hall later today as well. side note, i still wonder if i can still stay in hall next year. so the start of a new semester this time is kind of good and bad i guess.

the bad. i am taking 7 modules this coming semester, it is really going to be tough and crazy for my brain. on every Mondays and Thursdays, my lessons start from 8am and end at 8pm with just a small lunch break in between the torturous 12 hours of classes. mundane life of schooling begins.. doing tutorials, going to lectures and tutorials half tired half the time, fighting the lunch crowd.

the good. going to back means the hall life will be back.. late supper and random meet-ups. i have a free day on Friday. besides Mondays and Thursdays, i think my timetable is pretty okay. meeting my friends in FoS and heading for lectures together. enjoying meals at a cheaper rate, food outside is so expensive. staying in school means no hassle with public transport.. been sick of it over the holidays.. from slow service to squeezing like sardines.

so yeah, now i am sitting at home in my room surrounded by countless bags that i am going to bring to hall later. really can't imagine if one fine day when i have to travel overseas for exchange.. the amount of bags i will pack my stuffs into would be astonishing. ohh wells, anyway, good luck to all those starting the semester tomorrow as well.
