i lost two pieces of bone
hello everybody, here to update about what is happening in my life yet again, rather than to talk about personal thoughts and take on certain issues. today is the third day of my MC from Wednesday's wisdom teeth surgery at CGH. took out the right side, both top and bottom ones that day. technically teeth are bones so one can say i lost two bones that day.
anyway, thing is i'm here to tell you people what's happening to me and what not in case you all intend to remove the wisdom teeth in the future. the first day will be the toughest. the pain once the medicine wears off will send to wanting to beating your own mouth until it goes numb. blood will be flowing like mad two hours after the procedure but no worries just use whatever gauze they give you. take painkillers like once every 4 to 6 hours i guess. my mouth swelled pretty bad and now i still look like a bit of a hamster hiding its food on its right cheek.
nonetheless, i took liquid meals for the first two days. like soup and half-boiled eggs. you can take other food but use the side that is untouched to eat though i would caution you that opening your mouth to chew and bite might be a slight challenge initially. when you yawn or sneeze also must control a bit haha for if you go full blast, the side where you operate will feel numb for a split second. not a good feeling.
so yeah i'm still surviving and hope anyone who will be removing them some time soon or what not do as well.

the personal touch
this post was originally supposed to be written and posted three days a go on the Saturday that has just passed. however, my iTunes and iPhone were giving so much problems that i have to leave this to settle the issues and glitches and what not. now i am back blogging about something that has been on my mind for quite a while. can't blog the last couple days due to standby duties. so anyway here i go.
the most favourite month of every year has just passed. August is the most lovable month probably because, beside mine, i have many other close and good friends having their special days around this period of late July to August to early September. special days i refer here are birthdays. :)
from primary school to today, people and peers of my generation really see a lot of shifts in the technology and what not. social media become one of the core component over the years. Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Vine, YouTube.. and the list goes on and on. wishing people birthday has changed drastically over the years as well. i remember the conventional methods of getting one a card or a simple small gift or attending a house party. let alone the rest, the card part seemed to be going extinct soon.
well that is not the point. or at least that is not the main point i want to bring across. to me, wishing one HAPPY BIRTHDAY having the personal touch is the most important and one of the best feelings in the world. looking at the card and their handwriting tells me the person actually bother to put a thought into writing those wishes and those heart felt words. i will naturally feel touched and warm. well, i understand for today's context, a conventional card seems cliche and what not. however, the personal touch can still be shared over the monotonous font used on social medias or text or what not relating to modern technology.
remembering one's birthday without the help of Facebook events and then wishing the person personally is the best way. when i say personally, i don't mean writing on the person's wall or what not. it is actually texting or calling or private chat with the person to wish him/her. at least that is how i rely my feelings and thoughts and how i know the person wishing me really care and want to wish well.
to those judgmental people, i'm not here saying what i expect or what not. i'm here to say that such advancements in technology and what not have diluted the effect of well wishes but there are ways to keep it. i would always would want to use such ways to wish my dear friends and those whom i care and treasure.
and then i just realise not only my ways can be used for well wishes.. but also sincere apologies.
