the movie i talking about in this post will be "50 First Dates" starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
the storyline goes something about this guy who met this sweet young girl in a small store and soon learn that the girl he just met had an accident years ago. after the accident, she somehow would 'reset' her memory and forgot anything that happen ed on the previous day. however, determined and powered by love, this guy still try to find ways to court her.
first of all, some of you might be like me. seeing Adam Sandler in this movie might send you thinking this is a comedy show. but no... this is rather a really sweet drama love story i would say. the plot was well crafted though the monotonous pace might not be some of your likings. either way i would recommend this show.

video addiction
hello everyone. pardon me for not posting for quite a while. okay to be honest, i can post many times but thing is i don't like to talk about NS stuff here now and then. i know such things will bore some people so i have told myself to only post when i have really something to say about, other than NS that is.
so yeah, here i am to talk about something now. as you all know, i am a video addict. i watch a lot of movies and numerous drama shows and countless YouTube videos every single week. not only that, the rate at i watch them can be considered as crazy as said by few friends. ohh well, that's me.
anyway, i'm going to bring out the movie addict in me to this blog from next week onwards. meaning? i'll select, among the hundred of movies i've watched, those that i find really worth watching and introduce to you all. reason being is that at times some would randomly ask me what movies nice and i would stun for a moment as i dig the pile of titles in my brain. so yeah, putting here time and time again probably would help some of you.
i will not talk about dramas in specific but in case you all want to know what i've watched and been watching and will be watching, i will list them here.
The Mentalist.
The Big Bang Theory.
Two And A Half Men.
Prison Break.
Heroes.
Game Of Thrones.
so among the above are those that i have watched and still watching, except "Game Of Thrones". going to review them one by one here for today before moving on to the movies form next week onwards.
The Mentalist.
this is a show about a man named Patrick Jane who acts as a consultant with the CBI. he works with three other teammates, who are real police officers and they are namely Teresa Lisbon, Kimball Cho, Wayne Rigsby, Grace Van Pelt. Patrick Jane joined CBI years ago with a main objective to catch a notorious serial killer know as 'Red John'. the latter killed Patrick Jane's wife and daughter which obviously pushed him to his manhunt. he technically helps with the CBI to break cases by using various skills ranging from hypnosis, great observation and what not.
personally, i think this series of drama is really good. one, the suspense is always there, two, the plot is rarely predictable. three, this show really open one's eyes to the things that could happen within a family, a firm, a business and many other aspects of today's society.
The Big Bang Theory.
the comedy show revolves around a group of friends consisting of Leonard, Sheldon Cooper, Penny, Raj, Howard initially. as the seasons progress, more are introduced into the gang. all these people are representatives of various interesting people in the society. like a socially awkward brainiac, a girl-shy person, a geek and couple more.
in my opinion, for those who loves watching good comedy show, this is a must watch. a plus point for those innocent minds is that this show seldom include really sick jokes and what not. every episode will sure give you a good laugh though at times one might not catch their nerd jokes on science and history.
Two And The Half Men.
this comedy show involves a pair of brothers, Charlie Harper and Alan Harper plus the latter's son, Jake. Alan and Jake moved into Charlie's house from the start and that is how the title came about i guess. Charlie is a sick pervert playboy who lives life as it goes, taking one thing head on at a time. Alan is a rather controlling and always strives to be a good role model for his son. the two tend to lead to frictions and what not along the way. all these in turn affect Jake, who slowly grow from an innocent young boy to a teenager.
personally, i would recommend this show to guys. reason being is that there are many many sick jokes that normally only a guy could catch it. nonetheless, if you're a girl and would not irk at every single sick jokes made by them, you could give this series a shot as well.
Prison Break.
this thrilling series mainly talks about the brothers, Lincoln Burrows and Michaels Scofield. the show start off with the latter entering jail on purpose to get his elder brother out for he was sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. subsequently, the show moves on to show the bigger picture and the struggles as a runaway inmate and what not.
i really recommend this series to anyone out there. nonetheless, please caution that there might be some disturbing scenes involving great violence and blood everywhere. this show really highlights the importance of friends and family members.
Heroes.
the series is about a group of human beings who have evolved into extraordinary people with super powers. as a paranoid society we all live in, there will then be few who would try to contain them and what not. the shows introduce many different groups of people with many different types of vision or ideology or motive. many a time these come clashing together and conflict and friction arises.
personally, i think this series isn't as good through out. there are two disappointing seasons in between but at least the beginning and the end of the entire series were pretty okay. i don't strongly recommend this series but if supernatural powers are your thing, you might want to watch it. don't expect too much from the series though.
Game Of Thrones.
yet to watch this series so can't comment on anything but for your information, i received rather decent reviews about this and that is why i got it prepared in storage for watching when i'm done with others.
okay that is all for this round of update, pretty long update. time to go back to the sad land of Seletar Camp.
